Our registered office is 1 Derwent Business Centre, Clarke Street, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE1 2BU, and our VAT number is GB 129 7967 57. You can reach us at mail@appsoftware.com.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to:
- this website, www.appsoftware.com;
- the payments you make to us for any of our products, which Stripe processes for us.
Each product has its own terms, which cover using it and its plans, trials, renewals, cancellation and refunds. Where a product's terms differ from these, the product's terms apply to that product.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
3. Paying for our products
We sell our products ourselves, and Stripe processes the payments for us.
- Your card or other payment details go to Stripe. We never see your full card number.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled. How to cancel, and whether you are due a refund, depends on the product: see its terms.
- Stripe sends billing emails for us, such as receipts and notices about a failed payment or a card that is about to expire. Their links open pages that Stripe hosts for us, where you can update your payment details, confirm a payment with your bank or pay an invoice.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries it again over the following days. If it still fails, the subscription can end, as the product's terms describe.
- Prices, and whether they include VAT, are shown where you buy.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
4. Using this website
- The website's content is general information, not professional advice. We try to keep it accurate, but we do not promise that it is complete or up to date.
- Do not misuse the website: do not try to gain unauthorised access to it, disrupt it, or use it to break the law.
- We may change or withdraw any part of the website, and we may block anyone who misuses it.
5. Intellectual property
The website's content, and our software, logos and product names, belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may view and share the website's pages for your own non-commercial use. The licence for each product is set out in its own terms.
6. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
We are not responsible for loss caused by relying on the website's content. Our liability for a product is set out in that product's terms.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when our products or the law change. The date at the top shows when they last changed. A product's terms say how we tell its customers about a change that affects a paid plan.
8. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
